Maidan Wardak: Over 20 Tons of Food Assistance Provided to 270 Flood-Affected Families

The ARCS distributed over 20 tons of food aid to 270 families affected by recent floods in Maidan Shar and the districts of Nerkh, Jalrez, Sayed Abad, Chak, and Jaghatu in Maidan Wardak Province.

The assistance, provided by the Turkish Red Crescent, included 75.8 kilograms of food supplies for each family. The aid package contained 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of beans, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of macaroni, 800 grams of tomato paste, 500 grams of green tea, and 500 grams of biscuits.

This support is expected to help meet the immediate food needs of these families.

The ARCS strives to deliver timely humanitarian assistance to families affected by natural disasters and to play an active role in addressing their basic needs.
