Under the Leadership of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, 94 Metric Tons of Aid Distributed to 1,000 Repatriated Families in Maidan Wardak

During a visit to Maidan Wardak Province, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, distributed 94 metric tons of food and non-food assistance, provided with the support of Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD, and IHH, to 1,000 families who returned from neighboring countries.
As part of the assistance, each family received 50 kg of flour, 10 kg of rice, 10 kg of chickpeas, 5 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of sugar, 10 kg of macaroni, one can of tomato paste, 1 kg of Cerelac, one blanket, one bottle of dishwashing liquid, and one hygiene kit.
The distribution ceremony was attended by the General President of the ARCS, along with Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Al-Haj Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa, Governor of Maidan Wardak Province, senior advisors of the ARCS, the Director of the Southeast Zone, and representatives of several government and non-government organizations.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Delawar stated, “I hope that this assistance will bring ease and positive change to the lives of these families and play an effective role in reducing their daily challenges.”
He added that similar assistance programs have been launched in 18 provinces across the country and will be distributed regularly to repatriated families.
Meanwhile, Governor Khairkhwa expressed his appreciation for the comprehensive assistance provided by the ARCS and assured the returning families that, in addition to addressing existing challenges, sustainable employment opportunities would also be created for them.
This assistance will play an important role in meeting the daily needs of these families and will help reduce their basic challenges.
