Turkish Red Crescent Pledges to Enhance Assistance for Earthquake Victims

Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, held talks with Mr. Naeemullah Karimi, Head of the Turkish Red Crescent in Afghanistan, and his accompanying delegation to discuss strategies for delivering more effective services to families affected by the recent earthquake in eastern Afghanistan, strengthening bilateral cooperation, and expanding humanitarian assistance. 
During the meeting, Mr. Delawar expressed gratitude for the TRC’s collaboration and emergency relief efforts, emphasizing that providing support to earthquake victims and facilitating the restoration of their daily lives remains a top priority for the ARCS. He noted that returning affected families to normalcy requires comprehensive humanitarian assistance. 
In his remarks, Mr. Karimi stated, “Türkiye maintains deep ties with Afghanistan and regards itself a steadfast partner in every hardship and sorrow of the Afghan People. Our objective is to stand by Afghans under all circumstances and to strive to further amplify our assistance to support the impacted families,”
