Supporting Repatriated Refugees in Khost: Food and Non-Food Assistance Distributed to 1,000 Families

Monday, January 5, 2026
Under the directive of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, and with the generous support of the Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD, and IHH, 71 metric tons of food assistance were distributed to 1,000 repatriated families in the center of Khost Province.
Each family received 71 kilograms of food items, including flour, rice, cooking oil, sugar, tomato paste, and macaroni.
In addition, non-food items such as women’s clothing, shampoo, and other essential supplies were also distributed.
This assistance will play an important role in meeting the short-term food and basic needs of these families.
The ARCS stands alongside repatriated refugees and considers supporting and serving them a humanitarian and national responsibility.
