Supporting Earthquake Victims in Kunar: 175 Families Receive Nearly 27 Tons of Food Assistance

Under the directive of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, 26.862 metric tons of food assistance were provided to 175 earthquake-affected families in the Mazar Dara area of Nurgal District, Kunar Province.
The aid, supplied by the Turkish Red Crescent, consisted of 153.5 kilograms of food supplies per family, including 100 kg of flour, 25 kg of rice, 10 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of sugar, 8 kg of beans, 1 kg of green tea, 2 kg of salt, and 5 packets of biscuits.
In addition, each family received a health kit.
This assistance will help these families meet their daily needs consistently.
It is worth noting that just yesterday, over 107 metric tons of food aid were distributed to more than 700 earthquake-affected families in Sawkay District of the same province.
The ARCS continues its tireless efforts to serve, rescue, and support the people during natural and man-made disasters.
