The ARCS distributed small business supplies worth 5.6 million AFN to 200 earthquake-affected families in the Nurgal and Sawkay districts of Kunar province to support self-reliance.

The assistance was provided with financial support from the Danish Red Cross, through which 179 families each received three goats, 6 families each received 36 chickens, and 15 families were provided with tailoring materials and equipment.

It is expected that this assistance will help create sustainable sources of income for these families and reduce their dependence on others.

Under the program, each family received small business-related materials worth 28,000 Afghanis.

ARCS strives to support families affected by natural disasters by providing livelihood assistance aimed at promoting self-reliance and sustainable income generation.
