Ghor: Nearly 23 Tons of Food Items Distributed to 300 Flood-Affected Families

The ARCS distributed nearly 23 tons of food items to 300 flood-affected families in Murghab and Al-Farooq districts of Ghor Province who had suffered severe damage to their homes and properties due to the recent floods.

The assistance, which was provided with financial support from the Turkish Red Crescent, included 75.8 kilograms of food items for each family.

The items included 50 kg of flour, 10 kg of rice, 5 liters of cooking oil, 5 kg of beans, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of macaroni, 800 grams of tomato paste, 0.5 kg of green tea, and 0.5 kg of biscuits.

This assistance was provided to meet the basic needs of the flood-affected families and to reduce their hardships.

The ARCS strives to deliver timely humanitarian assistance to people affected by natural disasters and to help meet their basic needs.
