Nuristan: Food Aid Provided to 250 Internally Displaced Families

The ARCS distributed 19 tons of food items to 250 internally displaced families in Kamdesh District of Nuristan Province.

The aid was provided with the support of the Turkish Red Crescent, with each family receiving 76 kilograms of food items.

The items included 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of beans, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of macaroni, one can of tomato paste, 0.5 kg of green tea, and 0.5 kg of biscuits.

This assistance is expected to help meet the food needs of the families and reduce their hardships.

The ARCS strives to deliver timely humanitarian assistance to meet the basic needs of displaced and affected families.
