670 Repatriated Families Receive 52.6 Tons of Food Aid in Nangarhar

The ARCS, with support from the Turkish Red Crescent and the Hong Kong Red Cross, provided 52.6 tons of food assistance to 670 families repatriated from Pakistan to Chapahar District in Nangarhar Province.

Each family received 78.5 kilograms of food items, including 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of beans, 2 kg of sugar, 2 kg of macaroni, 1 bottle of tomato paste, 0.5 kg of green tea, and 3 packets of biscuits.

This assistance will effectively meet the short-term food needs of the repatriated families.

The ARCS provides humanitarian aid to address the basic needs of repatriated families.
