Online Coordination Meeting Held Among National Societies on Humanitarian Affairs

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, held an online meeting with representatives from 82 national societies. The meeting was organized on the initiative of the IFRC central headquarters to discuss improved coordination, ways of joint collaboration, assessment of achievements, and expansion of humanitarian assistance.
In his remarks, Mr. Delawar stated that organized coordination and cooperation among national societies play a vital role in enhancing the speed, effectiveness, and transparency of humanitarian services. He added that such meetings foster the sharing of experiences and promote effective collaboration.
Participants shared their experiences in humanitarian services, engaged in detailed discussions about challenges, achievements, and future plans, and emphasized the importance of joint humanitarian efforts.
