Acting General President of Afghan Red Crescent, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey,in his office in Kabul!

Acting General President of Afghan Red Crescent, Mr. Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey, Junk Onal, in his office in Kabul. In the meeting, the Acting General President of ARCS welcomed Mr. Onal to Afghanistan and called the relations between the peoples of Turkey and Afghanistan historic based on Islamic brotherhood. He said, "In the last 2 years, Turkey has helped Afghans more than anyone else and has helped Afghan Red Crescent in difficult situations".Mr. Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis said, "We are grateful to Turkish Red Crescent, which has a sincere relationship with us in the field of humanitarian services and carries out activities together." He assured the Ambassador of Turkey that Afghanistan will be Turkey's helper in human services and will stand its side. He expressed special gratitude for Turkey's attention to Afghanistan in humanitarian aid and explained that Turkey's cooperation is very important to ARCS. In the meeting, Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan Mr.Junk Onal expressed his happiness on his arrival to Afghanistan and promised that he will coordinate with Afghan Red Crescent to organize Turkey's humanitarian aid in Afghanistan. He said, "Another train of aid from Turkey is on its way to Afghanistan,and after its arrival it will be distributed to the returning refugees near the borders of Pakistan with the cooperation of Afghan Red Crescent." Mr. Junk Onal said, "Afghanistan is always suffered by natural disasters, but we will always stand with them".
