Kunar: ARCS Vice President Inspects Temporary Camp for Earthquake Survivors

Sunday, October 5, 2025

Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, visited the temporary shelter camp established for earthquake-displaced families in Nurgal district of Kunar province.
During the visit, Mr. Azizur Rahman closely assessed the tents installed, the distribution of hot meals, provision of safe drinking water, delivery of medical services, and other humanitarian support.
The Vice President also engaged directly with affected households, listening to their concerns and conveying his empathy and solidarity. He stated, “The ARCS will stand by the earthquake-affected communities in providing all types of humanitarian services and will timely address their needs.”
Concurrently, he participated in a program distributing solar energy equipment to 161 earthquake-affected households. The initiative aimed to enhance access to electricity, with each family receiving a package containing seven solar-related items: a solar panel, a battery, a fan, a controller, 10 meters of electric wire, three bottles of acid, and two light bulbs.
