Kabul: ARCS Five-Year Strategic Plan Launched

The ARCS Strategic Plan 2026–2030 was launched during a formal ceremony attended by the organization’s leadership, internal officials, and international partners.
At the beginning of the event, Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salam, Under-Secretary General of the Operational Affairs of the ARCS, welcomed the participants and provided information on the joint efforts and cooperation of the organization’s leadership, the working committee, and international partners in the preparation of the new strategic plan.
In his address, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, described the development of the new strategic plan as an important and fundamental step, stating that its implementation will further strengthen, improve, and expand the organization’s humanitarian services.
He also described the role of international partners and volunteers as a key part of success, emphasizing that through joint efforts, positive change will be brought to people’s lives.
The Vice President of the ARCS, Hafiz Azizur Rahman, said that the strategic plan is of fundamental importance for setting priorities, ensuring effective resource management, and defining a clear direction for activities. He added that, alongside the strategic plan, a three-year development plan for 2026–2028 has also been prepared to ensure that activities are carried out in an organized and coordinated manner, and that the simultaneous implementation of both plans will further enhance the effectiveness of services.
International partners also praised the new strategic plan of the ARCS, describing it as an important and fundamental step toward better organization and development of humanitarian services. They emphasized that the strategic plan plays an important role in clarifying activities, setting priorities, and improving the quality of services.
They also expressed their continued commitment to cooperation and pledged to support the implementation of the strategic plan in order to ensure timely response to the needs of vulnerable and affected people.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to members of the Strategic Plan Development Committee.
