Afghan Red Crescent extends its services to individuals who cannot afford private hospital treatment. It have established fixed health clinics nationwide, which offers free healthcare services to most vulnerable & affected people. One of such clinic is Jawzjan province fixed health clinic, which provides free healthcare to citizens from various areas on a daily basis. The aforementioned clinic is located in Yaka Bagh village, within the city of Shabarghan in Jawzjan province, this clinic over the last month has provided services to a total of 5,316 citizens. Among them, 2,956 patients have received medical examinations, treatment, and prescribed medications, dressed up 122 individuals, distributed special food items to 383 malnourished children, administered various vaccines to 408 children and female patients, offered essential advices to 122 female patients regarding childbirth, and provided maternal and child health support to 27 mothers. Furthermore, the clinic has offered vital instructions and recommendations on health care to 1,298 individuals.
