Islam Qala: ARCS Vice President Assesses Humanitarian Assistance for Returning Refugees

During his visit to Herat province, Mr. Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, closely inspected  the humanitarian aid operations at the Islam Qala border crossing for refugees returning from Iran.
Mr. Rahman evaluated the distribution of hot meals, provision of clean drinking water, healthcare services, and other humanitarian assistance. He also advised the officials, staff, and volunteers on enhancing the quality, speed, and overall effectiveness of aid delivery.
He stated, ”The ARCS is committed to providing urgent, effective, and humanitarian assistance to refugees returning from neighboring countries. We strive not only to support them with food, water, and medical care but also to ensure comprehensive provisions for shelter and other essential needs.“
Additionally, he emphasized the importance of treating refugees with kindness and respect, highlighting that serving them is both a religious and national duty for staff and volunteers.
