IFRC Regional Director for Asia-Pacific and Afghanistan Country Head Pledge Support for Refugees and Vulnerable Communities

Late Thursday, Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabiddin Delawar, President of the ARCS, , held a virtual coordination meeting with Alexander Matheou, the IFRC Regional Director for Asia-Pacific, and Sami Fakhouri, Head of IFRC Delegation in Afghanistan.
During the meeting, Mr. Delawar stressed the urgent need to expand international assistance for refugees and vulnerable individuals. He reiterated ARCS’s readiness to provide all necessary support in this regard.
The IFRC officials pledged to continue close cooperation with ARCS to address the pressing needs of refugees and vulnerable families.
