Cash Assistance Provided 89 Vulnerable Families in Kabul to Prevent Begging

Sunday, February 8, 2026

The ARCS provided 408,000 Afghanis in cash assistance to 89 registered beneficiary families, including vulnerable people and beggars, at the Central Marastoon in Kabul. The assistance aims to prevent begging and help families become self-reliant.
The cash assistance was distributed based on the number of members in each family.
It is worth noting that such cash assistance will be transferred to these families on a monthly basis through bank accounts in the future.
The ARCS prioritizes supporting vulnerable and female-headed families across the country and strives to provide essential facilities for their lives.
