The ARCS distributed aid to 150 needy families in Takhar province

Yesterday, 31st of January, 2022 the Afghan Red Crescent Society distributed food and non-food items to 150 displaced and drought-affected families in Farkhar district of Takhar province.

The aid was provided by the International Federation includes 50 kg of flour , 25 kg of rice, 10 liters of oil, 7 kg of bean, 5 kg of sugar, 1 kg of green tea , 2 kg of salt, 1 packet of BP5 biscuits, 2 Tarpaulins, 7 blankets, 1 kitchen set and a box of medical supplies which were distributed in the presence of Maulvi Mohammad Shafi Hijrat, Director of North Eastern Zone of the Afghan Red Crescent Society & Maulvi Abdul Hamid Abidi Director of Takhar Red Crescent Society and other staff.

It is worth mentioning that after receiving this assistance, the people of Afghanistan expressed their gratitude for the good deeds of the Afghan Red Crescent Society and thanked them and asked for more assistance.
