The Acting Secretary General of ARCS Meets the Deputy of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Afghanistan!

Today, Tuesday, the 25th of March, Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salaam, the Acting Secretary General, and Mawlawi Abdul Latif Sabit, the Under-secretary General of ARCS, convened a meeting with Mr. Khalil Ibrahim Ikor, the Deputy of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Afghanistan, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting centered on supporting the returning refugees and the provision of urgent and essential aid to them in various sectors.
At the start of the meeting, the Acting Secretary General besides welcoming the delegation, articulated that based on the services of this national humanitarian organization supporting returning refugees and collaboration with them, in alignment with the fundamental principles and standards of national societies, is a collective responsibility of all and solicited the support of OIC in facilitating aid to returning refugees from neighboring countries based on their needs.
Subsequently, the Deputy of OIC in Afghanistan commended the services of ARCS and pledged of long-term and sustainable assistance. He further reaffirmed their commitment to support ARCS in the treatment of congenital heart defect patients.
