The Acting President and vice president of Afghan Red Crescent Society Meets Turkish IHH Representative!

On Sunday, 10th of April 2022 Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis Acting President and Mawlavi Nuruddin Turabi vice president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society met Mr. Ahmed, the representative of the Turkish IHH Charity Foundation.

At the beginning Mr. Ahmad, the representative of the IHH Charity Foundation, expressed his gratitude to Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, Acting President and Mawlavi Nuruddin Turabi, vice president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, for their permanent support to poor countrymen. He added that during the holy month of Ramadan, we want to provide 500 tons of flour aid to the needy Afghans, according to the plan these aid will be distributed by the ARCS to the poor and needy people.

In return, the Acting President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society welcomed the representative of the Turkish charity foundation and thanked them for their assistance and encouraged them to provide more assistance and assured the full transparency of the Afghan Red Crescent Society and comprehensive cooperation.

During the meeting, Mawlavi Nuruddin Turabi, vice president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, added that "As the Afghan Red Crescent Society is the only charitable and national organization in the country, which carries out its activities with complete impartiality, it would be better to distribute the aid to the people through the Afghan Red Crescent Society, and he assured the representative of the IHH Charity Foundation of their full cooperation in this regard".

He directed that in order to expedite the distribution of aid and prevent unnecessary expenses, aid should be imported and distributed through the nearest ports in accordance with the provincial plan.

Finally, the representative of the IHH charity foundation pledged that they would provide all his assistance through the Afghan Red Crescent Society in the future.
