The Acting General President and Vice-president of ARCS Meet the Acting Head of IFRC for Afghanistan and Manager of Strategic Engagement for Afghanistan!
Today, Saturday, the 22nd of March, Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, the Acting General President and Hafiz Aziz Ul Rahaman the Vice-president of ARCS convened a meeting with Mr. Ahmad Suleiman, the Acting Head of IFRC for Afghanistan, and Huma Nadir, Manager of Strategic Engagement of IFRC for Afghanistan. The meeting centered on helping returning refugees from neighboring countries, destitute and disaster-affected people, and preparedness against the impacts of drought where the leadership of ARCS solicited assistance and cooperation in these areas.
In turn, the Acting Head of IFRC for Afghanistan and the Manager of Strategic Engagement of this organization reaffirmed their commitment to sustain their support and collaboration in the mentioned areas. They pledged to facilitate foreign trips for the leadership of ARCS for seeking humanitarian assistance to support destitute, disaster-affected and drought-affected populations and will accelerate their efforts in this regard.
