Mr. Mawlavi Mati-Ul-Haq "Khalis" President of ARCS had bilateral meeting with Mr. Khalid Abdullah Al-Yafie, in-charge of emergency disaster of Qatar charity, on humanitarian aid in Afghanistan, helping headless families, vocational trainings & number of other issues, in Doha. At the beginning of meeting, Mr. Khalis expressed his gratitude to Qatar charity for providing previously humanitarian aid to Afghan people through ARCS and standing by Afghan people in difficult times. He said "The assistance of Qatar charity is valued & we hope that Qatar charity will keep continue their assistance via ARCS to help Afghans as earlier, because ARCS is an organization, which is more mindful of people's problems than any other organization & delivers aid transparently to areas, where people are in need". Mr. Khalis stated, "Afghanistan has been severely affected by the last 40 years of conflict and there are disabled people, including widows and orphans, who need vocational trainings; so we call on welfare foundations to help Afghan people and don't leave them behind." He told "In last eight months, ARCS has treated 757 children suffering from cardiovascular septal defect, which costs 2,000 USD per child, but due to increasing patients number, ARCS is unable to treat all of them; so we hope that charity foundations like Qatar welfare foundation will cooperate with us in this regard." Likewise, Mr. Khalis said "Currently, ARCS has protection & treatment centers for male and female psychological patients in Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, Balkh and Nangarhar, with an annual cost of six millions USD; we are optimistic that International charity foundations will help ARCS in moving forward this program." Mr. Khalid Abdullah Al-Yafie, in-charge of emergency disaster of Qatar charity, besides praising the activities of ARCS, also pledged to help ARCS in mentioned sections & told, "We are interested to help Afghan people & we want to assist ARCS in taking care of orphans, helping headless families and providing them vocational training and other humanitarian assistance as well as we will continue our cooperation with ARCS."
