Afghan Residing in the United States Hands Over Financial Assistance to ARCS for Kunar Earthquake Victims

An Afghan national currently residing in the United States has donated AFN 666,666 in cash assistance to support families affected by the recent earthquake in Kunar Province and to help provide them with basic living needs. Motivated by a profound sense of compassion and national solidarity, the philanthropist personally visited the ARCS headquarters to hand over the donation.
The benefactor, who requested anonymity and declined public disclosure of his name and photograph, stated: “The recent earthquake has claimed numerous lives, left many injured, and caused extensive financial losses. It is our shared responsibility to respond swiftly and stand beside our affected compatriots.”
The ARCS expressed its appreciation for the generous contribution, commending his humanitarian spirit and reaffirming its commitment to deliver the aid with full transparency to the affected families.
