Nuristan: Aid Distribution to Conflict-Affected Families Completed in Kamdesh and Barg-e-Matal

The distribution of humanitarian assistance to families affected by conflict was completed today in the Kamdesh and Barg-e-Matal districts of Nuristan Province.

According to the plan, assistance was provided to more than 10,500 families in Kamdesh and nearly 6,500 families in Barg-e-Matal.

The aid was delivered through joint coordination between the ARCS, the ICRC, and WFP. 

As part of the assistance, each family received flour, cooking oil, lentils, salt, and handwashing soap.

The assistance aimed to meet the basic needs of conflict-affected families and help ease their hardships to some extent.
