Nuristan: Aid Distribution begins for more than 6,000 Conflict-affected families in Barg-e-Matal

In joint coordination with the ARCS, the ICRC and the WFP, the distribution of food assistance has begun for more than 6,000 families affected by Conflict in Barg-e-Matal district of Nuristan Province.

On the first day of the effort, aid was delivered to 2300 families across different areas of the district. The aid included flour, cooking oil, lentils, salt and handwashing soap, aimed at meeting basic household needs and helping to ease the difficulties faced by affected families.
