Food and Non-Food Assistance Distributed to Families Without Guardians in Faryab

With the financial support of Qatar Fund for Development and technical assistance of Qatar Red Crescent, ARCS distributed a total of 23.030 metric tons of food assistance to 245 families without guardians across multiple districts of Faryab Province. These families have been participating in vocational training programs over the past year, learning skills in traditional handicrafts such as tailoring and embroidery as part of a sustainable livelihoods project.
As part of this assistance, each family received a 94 kg food package, which included flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, beans, green tea, and salt.
In addition, supplementary animal feed was provided to 25 families in the Almar district who had previously received lactating cows. Each of these households received 105 kg of cottonseed cake and 60 kg of barley.
