ARCS Vice President Meets with Officials from Danish Red Cross and IOM

Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, held a trilateral meeting at the central headquarters with Mr. Mohammad Al-Shamma, the Head of the Danish Red Cross in Afghanistan, and Mr. Thomas, Deputy of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Afghanistan, to discuss the expansion of cooperation in the care and treatment of mental health patients.
During the meeting, Mr. Azizur Rahman briefed the delegates on the various humanitarian services ARCS is providing to the people. He noted that due to recent crises and disasters, many Afghans are suffering from mental health disorders and require extensive support and care. He emphasized the importance of assistance from international aid organizations in providing better and more comprehensive services to mental health patients and requested cooperation from the officials to strengthen this support.
Mr. Thomas expressed satisfaction with the activities of ARCS and pledged to provide the necessary support for the care and treatment of mental health patients, based on the resources available.
