Acting President of ARCS: Providing Standardized Mental Healthcare Remains A Top Priority

Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar. Acting President of ARCS, accompanied by Mr. Ahmad Suleiman, Deputy Head of IFRC in Afghanistan, conducted an official assessment visit to the Western Zone Marastoon and Mental Health Care and Treatment Center in Herat.
During the visit, Mr. Delawar expressed appreciation for the services being provided at the facility and urged the staff to maintain and further enhance the quality of care delivered to patients.
The Acting President also toured several departments, including the clinic, pharmacy, sanitation facilities, kitchen, and the recently rehabilitated mosque. He commended the facility’s efforts and emphasized that providing consistent, high-quality mental healthcare remains a top priority for ARCS. He further pledged full support for strengthening healthcare services.
