Emergency Cash Assistance Provided 17 Flood-Affected Families in Helmand, Badghis, and Nimroz

The ARCS distributed 510,000 Afghanis in emergency cash assistance to eight flood-affected families in Sangin, Marjah, Nahr-e Saraj, Kajaki, and Nawzad districts of Helmand Province, seven families in Qadis, Jawand, Darah-ye Bum, Bala Murghab, and Ghormach districts of Badghis Province, and two families in Khash Rod district of Nimroz Province.

These families suffered personal and financial losses due to recent flooding. The assistance was provided by the Red Cross Society of China, with each family receiving 30,000 Afghanis.

This cash assistance was provided to address urgent needs and help ease the immediate difficulties faced by the affected families.

The ARCS places special attention on families affected by natural disasters and strives to meet their urgent needs quickly through emergency assistance.
