The acting Director General of ARCS participated in the distribution of aid to 600 families in Ghazni province

Today, on Wednesday, 2nd of February 2022 the acting Director General of Afghan Red Crescent Society Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis participated in the distribution of food and non-food items to 600 widows, orphans, headless and needy families in Ghazni province. The aid was provided by the King Salman Charity Foundation of Saudi Arabia, included 200 kg of flour, 2 cartons of food items, 2 blankets and a number of winter items. The acting Director General of the Afghan Red Crescent Society said in an interview with reporters before the distribution of aid that "they understand the current situation of poverty in the country more than anyone else and are trying to expand their assistance to reach out to their countrymen".

Before the distribution of aid to the needy families in Ghazni province, the acting Director General of the Afghan Red Crescent also participated in the distribution of winter aid to 193 needy families in Maidan Wardak province today.
